Vail, Arizona is split in the middle by Interstate 10, and residents naturally refer to each side as North & South Vail. Development of each area, at least initially, was much different.
Most of North Vail was developed rather recently, beginning in the mid-1990’s with the opening of Antler Crest, a one-acre community. But it wasn’t until 2001 when Rancho Del Lago, a Master Planned Community, was opened that North Vail development took off. Most homes were built in Builder-developed neighborhoods where the homes are similar in style and are governed by Homeowner Associations.
The ever-popular Rincon Trails, with both Southwest and Contemporary homes, is the second largest subdivision in North Vail. Located off of Camino Loma Alta, you will pass Loma Alta Estates, the Enclave at Loma Alta and the Estates at Cienega Creek on the way.
