Friday was National Corvette Day at Rancho Del Lago with food, drink and lots of Corvettes to see. The Christ Lutheran Vail Church also sponsored a Kids’ Night Out to give parents a little free time.

Today there was a Red, White & Blue costume contest at the Rincon Valley Farmer’s Market plus a Historical Bus Tour provided by the Preservation Society and a Blessing of the Vines at Charron Vineyards.

Tonight from 6-8pm, There will be Music on the Terrace at Colossal Cave Mountain Park. Only $5 per person. Tucson Speedway will provide fireworks at 9pm.

Gaze at the stars on Sunday while the kids watch Chicken Little. That starts at 8pm   at Christ Lutheran Vail.

Monday is a Block Party & Fireworks Display at the Del Lago Golf Club. From 4pm-9:30pm, you’ll be treated to a Prickly Pear Festival, Jumping Castles, Water Slide, Carnival Games, Vendor Booths and great food. Fireworks start at 9pm.

The culmination of Vail’s festival will be a parade with splash zone starting at the Christ Lutheran Church and running down Colossal Cave Rd to the Del Lago Clubhouse. It runs from 9-11am. Beware motorists, as Colossal Cave Rd. will be closed during that time period.
