Buyers: Have You Missed Out on a Home? Here’s Why:

Homes are selling very quickly in Tucson and the surrounding communities. In SE Tucson, for example, homes selling for $200,000 or less have an average of only 19 days on the market. But 34% of those homes are sold in 5 days or less – which means they likely received an offer as soon as the home went on the market.
Sales of homes listed for over $200,000 are averaging only 26 days on the market, just a week longer than those under $200,000. And 36% of those homes sold within 5 days!
What about Vail? The results are much the same. Homes listed for $200,000 or less have an average of only 24 days on the market – and a whopping 45% of those sold within 5 days!
Homes priced over $200,000 are selling a little slower, with an average of 41 days on the market. But 30% of those homes sold in 5 days or less.
When homes are selling this quickly, Buyers must work with a REALTOR® to avoid missing out on new homes that come on the market.
REALTORS® find out about homes the instant they are listed for sale and sometimes even sooner. Buyers that use Zillow, Realtor.com or similar websites to find homes may miss out, as they typically are not updated with new listings for 24 hours.
